The Bayfront Blues Festival & More 2023 Events

For more than 30 years, the iconic Bayfront Blues Festival has brought thousands of music lovers together at Canal Park on the shores of Lake Superior. They welcome the most talented blues musicians from around the country to the big stage throughout the three-day festival, full of live bands, great food, and dancing.

The Bayfront Blues Festival is also one of the largest outdoor music festivals in the upper Midwest, with more than 30,000 fans celebrating the 30-plus acts on two main stages at Duluth’s Bayfront Festival Park. The event has come a long way, from its humble beginnings in 1989, on a rainy day with only 1,000 attendees! The event has grown exponentially over the years, and each year welcomes bigger stars to the stage.

This year, the Bayfront Blues Festival falls on the second weekend in August, with many other fantastic events coming up through the summer and into the fall. Our Duluth Bed and Breakfast is ideal for those hoping to enjoy the action in Canal Park and Bayfront Festival Park. We’re just a quick five-minute drive or a leisurely 1.5-mile walk if you enjoy heading out on foot. Our five cozy guest rooms have everything you need for a restful stay. Check out our upcoming availability and reserve your room today!

Each year, Canal Park comes alive with music, and one of our favorite annual events is the iconic Bayfront Blues Festival.
